They told me I was different, best compliment ever.
If you are looking for me to tell you how wonderful I am, to go on and on about my education, my training, and my certifications because you need to be impressed, I’m not the one you are looking for. If you are looking for someone to listen to you without judgment, encourage you without preaching, and to be supportive of your decisions, then keep reading.
The musical genius Prince wrote “we are all here in this thing call life”. However how to manage or design a life was never taught in any school I went to. Hard knocks based on poor decisions and multiple bad choices were almost the end of me. In finding help, I gained knowledge, made changes, put into practice and moved forward.
Genius often gets side tracked by impulse decisions. Constantly learning and seeking growth allows us to develop structure and self-discipline. My support system of mentors keeps me learning and improving daily, a practice I highly recommend.
Business author Simon Sinek explains how companies focused on their why are the superior model for success. This also works for individuals. Any goal you want to achieve must have a sufficient why. Grant Cardone emphasizes your why must be reinforced especially when times are hard and you want to give up. Motivational speaker Les Brown and the late Dr. Sean Stephenson, echo my thoughts, “I believe in you. There is greatness within you and a reason for your being.” Michael Johnson 12-step master trainer, author and speaker, inspires me constantly to remain in touch with my inventory and be of service daily.
My recovery lifestyle has allowed me to regain connection with my family, be a better Dog Mom, a better friend, improved my employability, taught me to be responsible with my finances, become a good neighbor and valued member of my community.
I’ve worked in jails, prisons, community health facilities and private practices with all types of people from all walks of life. My expertise is meeting you where you are; to help you get where you want to go.
