SAP Services

Drug use and excessive alcohol use are prohibited for those in the safety professions; truck driver, merchant marine, bus driver, airline personnel, railways personnel, and more. When a test result is positive for high alcohol or substance use, safety professional refuses a test or misses a mandatory drug test, individual is required to seek out a SAP for evaluation and follow-up.

Substance Abuse Professionals (SAP) evaluate, recommend education and/or treatment to be completed and after a follow-up evaluation, recommend individual able to seek a return-to-duty test with employer or new employment.
